Hear what happened the day Julie's book arrived from the printers. She was just stepping out the shower when she heard the doorbell ring....

The doorbell rang. I stood frozen. I was readying myself to get into the shower and now half naked. My partner Ron was fully occupied in the toilet so I decided to take action and head straight for the front door. It might just be the courier delivering my first book and I had to get to it!
I rushed down the stairs wearing solely a t shirt that finished shorter than I needed it too and opening the door, I used its glass front to protect me. Poking my head around its side, I listened for some sign of life. No-one there.
“Hello” I announced. Still no answer!
Then from a distance a man called out “hello”
Not sure how to tell him of my predicament – that of blindness and nakedness, I announced,
“I’m blind and I’m half naked” I called out. That should do it. I needed him to know that I was unable to see him and why I was poking my head only from around the back of the front door.
“That’s fine” he laughed. “Where do you want me to put these boxes?”
“Just inside the front door here” I instructed him. By this time Ron had appeared in his bath robe.
“I’ll need someone to sign” the courier asked.
Ron said “I’ll do it”
“No – you won’t –“I rushed in. This is my book and I’m signing for it!”
Grabbing the electronic display from behind the front door, blind and half naked I signed for the delivery of my first book.
I know I won’t forget the delivery of my first book and I don’t suppose the delivery man will either!
