How writing down your thoughts can make you unstoppable

Writing is a great way to find out what you are thinking. If ever I am stuck I turn to writing down my thoughts to help me gain clarity. It’s an amazing experience to see your heart and mind fall onto the page and help you gain clarity. It’s a great way of capturing your discoveries, like a butterfly in a jar. Like the butterfly you can capture your thoughts and then set them free to fly! Free of fear to do whatever we want to do, to be whatever we want to be – to make you unstoppable! Here are just five ways that writing down your thoughts can make you unstoppable.

  1. Whenever you take action write it down in your journal. Ask yourself “what is it I have discovered as a result of doing this action?” Write down what you have discovered on a separate piece of paper, sign it and put it in a special place reserved for special things. You have written your first quotation.
  2. When you have written down your quotation place it in a box with other famous quotations. I have quotations I have written and I have them in a box beside my bed with other such famous people as Martin Luthar King, Napolean Hill and Brian Tracy. It gives your words higher status when you put them in such esteemed company!
  3. Drawing images is another way for creating awareness. When I sat down and drew an image for the book I was writing I sat in front of a blank piece of paper. Not letting being blind and unable to draw put me off; I wrote just three letters W O W. Wow! This was how it was going to feel when I had written my book! Wow! I learned too that pictures can be made from words.
  4. Writing your thoughts is the first step to speaking your thoughts. Because I am unable to read the written word easily when I am speaking I tend to speak from the heart whenever I am giving a presentation or public speech. I've always found condensing my thoughts a great way to remember them and as a result retrieve them. Sometimes I don't even know what I am thinking until I write down my thoughts. It comes from a place deep within and pours onto the typed page.
  5. Write down your goals. Doing this on a daily basis provides us with the mechanism to stay focused. Remember our mind moves in the direction of our currently dominant thoughts so if our dominant thoughts are our goals then we move towards them. Writing down our goals helps with that dominance by pulling us towards our magnificent vision – our goals. When we generate that kind of energy we become unstoppable. So, start today by writing down your thoughts and become unstoppable!
