Inspire Kiwi Kids
Operation Truffle
Would you like to be part of a unique project aimed at inspiring young NZers?
Operation Truffle now gives you the opportunity to inspire 10-13 year old students at the 119 Intermediate Schools around the country.
Known as that blind woman, Julie Woods is an inspirational speaker who has made a big impact on the Intermediate School pupils she has touched so far. Affectionately named after her infamous truffles, Operation Truffle is a project that has been created in response to this amazing feedback.
Here’s what just some of the kids at Papatoetoe Intermediate School in New Zealand said about Julie after she spoke to them–
“Even though you are blind you aren't afraid to do anything that people who are not blind are afraid of”
“WOW! Just because you have lost your eye sight doesn't mean you dont have the ability to speak from your heart”
“no matter what probelm you have - you should always never let yourself down”
“You are the most motivating person I have ever met”
Now Julie wants to inspire as many kiwi kids as she can by visiting every Intermediate School in NZ!
If you would like to give young NZers around the country the opportunity to be inspired by Julie then here’s how Operation Truffle works:
- You can choose the Intermediate School you want Julie to speak to or let Julie decide (check out the list of intermediate schools here)
- Sponsor Julie’s visit for $500 where she will tell the whole school assembly how they can turn change into opportunity with her “why not” philosophy
- Julie will donate a signed copy of her book How to Make a Silver Lining to the school’s library (it’s got her famous truffle recipe at the back)
Contact Julie by emailing her at julie@thatblindwoman.co.nz or phone her on +64 (0)3 467 2164 or +64 021 913 513
