Happy birthday to me

Happy birthday to me

Happy birthday that blind woman

Happy birthday to me!

Thank you thank you thank you to all those who have been there to help me in my first 18 years as a blind person! If you’ve responded to this blog, or listened to me speak, or taught me how to touch type or to read braille, you all have made a significant difference to my life since the day I went blind!

Come and celebrate with me today at Eden Flowers, 235 King Edward Street, South Dunedin where I will be giving out more of those blooming truffles as well as hot pink gerbera’s with Eco florist Chris Abbott!

Come in and see us between 11 am and 5 pm so that I can say thank you to you for helping me in my first 18 years as a blind person!

Who would have thought, when I sat in that hospital waiting room, 18 years ago today, that I would be doing the things that I am doing now! Talk about being blind!

Oh yes, I will be wearing my “I’m bee for blind” outfit all day!

If you can’t make it, tune into Otago Access Radio 105.4 fm at 9.10 am this morning to hear me being interviewed by Jeff Harford on the Awesome Morning Show! (streamed live at www.oar.org.nz)

Or hop on to Chris Abbott’s facebook page Eden Flowers Eco Florist NZ
