Here are 10 things my senses are grateful for this week!

1 the sound of the OARsome morning show music playing yesterday morning as Ron and I got ready to host the show for Jeff! Scary! Also the sound of our guest Pat Macaulay talking about our recent Rail Trail adventure! It’s the gift that keeps on giving that Rail Trail!

2 the feel of the ploppy rain on me as I ran from event to event! Plop, plop, plop!

3 the taste of the soup and roll I had at Salvation Army after I spoke to them yesterday! The CAMEO group – come and meet each other!

4 the sound of the strategies each of the group shared with me for keeping themselves well. It all comes back to simplicity! Listening to classical music, making carved animals and paper broaches! I love it!

5 the feel of the heater on last night as the weather got cold all of a sudden!

6 the taste of the thai green chilli curry I made for tea! Well, when I say I made it, I mean I put it all together from a fresh made pack!

7 the smell of the cinnamon bun Ron bought for me from Spelt Bakery yesterday!

8 the feel of the shortbread and apple jelly the Salvation Army gave me as a gift for speaking! I’ve just had a piece of shortbread and it’s yummy!

9 the sound of my sister on the phone today!

10 the feel of my blue tooth keyboard connected to my iPhone 6! It’s such a beautiful piece of technology. Apple really do build beautiful products!

I may not see

But I can smell

And taste and touch and listen!

And when I do this every day

I find my optimism!
