Come in and see us between 11 am and 5 pm so that I can say thank you to you for helping me in my first 18 years as a blind person!
Who would have thought, when I sat in that hospital waiting room, 18 years ago, that I would be doing the things that I am doing now! Talk about being blind!
Behind this happy blind person is a line a mile long of family, friends, Blind Foundation staff and volunteers who have helped me become the person I am today! That’s why I stop and celebrate! To say thank you to all of you who have helped me in my first 18 years as a blind person and to show the world that life doesn’t have to end when you go blind; for me it was when my life began.
“Opportunity waits between things ended and things begun”
